Mincemeat & Marzipan Tealoaf

Everyone has a jar of mincemeat in the cupboard, left over from Christmas, this is an ideal way to use it up. Instead of using diced marzipan as the recipe calls for, I had a roll of it leftover so I added it to the middle of the loaf. (just visible in the photo above) Made it in my new pampered chef stoneware loaf tin, which cooked a lot quicker than my old tin one, so I will have to watch my timings very carefully next time, this was a little too brown on top! You can find the recipe here.

Even though I'm on the pink path, I still have a family to cook for!

MMMMM I love marzipan. Not quite as crazy about mincemeat, but I do like it!

Hmmm I love mincement pies especially served with warm custard. This tealoaf looks really good Tulip. I would never have thought to add the marzipan.
