I am going to try it with very thinly sliced streaky bacon next time, it may be a little easier on the old patience!! So tasty though!

I may have to invite friends over for a little soiree soon, just so I can do the whole canape section complete with voddy cocktails!

Sliced streaky bacon works really well Tulip. I make these all the time. I don't scramble the eggs, just break them into the bacon lined muffin cups and then I sprinkle some cheese and herbs on top. YUMMY!

Streaky bacon might need a bit longer in the oven...

It's not scrambled egg marie - it's egg mayo :)

Your version sounds similar to something I do with smoked salmon slices, quails eggs, parmesan and asparagus tips. Very yummy indeed.

I have made something similare marie with whole egg sprinkled with chopped chives.

Bee - That sounds scrummy, I take it muffin tin lined with smoked salmon, one quail egg dropped in with the asparagus tips, topped with parmasan and baked for 20 minutes at 180c ???? Got to try that as soon as asparagus is out!!

Oh its got to be a silicone muffin tray, I used a normal one once and it stuck like *&^^ to a baby's blanket!!!

Photo to follow as soon as the Evesham asparagus season starts!
