You can't beat homemade Brioche

My kids love homemade brioche, as you can see 1 slice is a big breakfast!

This is a recipezaar find, Mercy says the original recipe is from Fleischmann's Yeast company. I dont' know who they are but my kids would like to say thank you!! This is so much better for them than the shop bought stuff, only 2 tablespoons of sugar in the whole loaf, now you can't get better than that.

3 large eggs
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup milk (70º to 80ºF)
3 tablespoons water (70º to 80ºF)
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
~
Measure all ingredients into bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer.
Process on sweet or basic/white bread cycle; use light crust color setting.
Remove bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
~
It's as simple as that!
~
My kids like to serve it with butter and Jam or chocoalte spread, it is also nice toasted when it's a day or two old (If it ever lasts that long)/
~
Serve it toasted with chicken liver pate and plum chutney for a grown up starter

Ohh, I've made that bread and it's truly lovely. I tried another good one at the weekend. #221430 Rapid Basic White Bread. I had a hot steaming loaf on my table in less than two hours and it was mighty good too!
