A strange looking bunch...

...but impossible not to like! Mud were one of the first bands I actually chose to listen to myself. Having an older brother, the music I usually listened to was what he left around. But I felt like a grown up when I danced around to their music. I had done the whole Osmond's and Bay City Roller thing but Mud were 'serious'

The local pavilion disco used to play Mud all the time and I thought it was brilliant! When I look back now...oh how young and silly I was. Still brings a smile to my face when I hear Tiger feet though.

Lathy...which one?

You are showing your age now Julie...... My friend Kath loved Mud and there music reminds of the big fair held once a year in Newcastle. All Geordies know it as the "Gannin to the Moor" . Its held in June and you cna bet your life if rains like the great flood that week. Oh such memories... As for the Bay City Rollers, well Kath my BF from Newcastle, loved them, she even had the jeans trimmed with tartan, and not to mention that hair cut.....

Oh my Julie...Bay City Rollers....I remember them and think I was in love with the lead singer.
All hair, boots and tartan. :-)
I loved their Xmas song which they sang on Top of the Pops.

I have never heard of Mud, but I did like the Bay City Rollers! I was mad about them and their plaid baggies!

My bro was bass player in the early '80s on tour. Not on the albums.
Great fun for us all...
