Slow cooking at its best!

The kids found this difficult at 6:30am while I did all the prep to get it into the slow cooker, fried onions and Ras el Hanout Spice Mix was not the best before breakfast...but it was worth it!!! I arrived home that evening cold and in the dark upon opening my front door I was greeted with the most amazing smell!!! Ahhhh the beef was fall apart tender and the whole prunes and date had melted into a thick sauce. Out of this world!!! I served this with cous-cous. Great the next day too!

  2. Julie, there is nothing better to come home to than a pot of slow cooked stew. Well, maybe there are some things but it has to be right up there near the top.
