While cabbage is still in season I'm going to use it whenever I can. This time I fried it off with a little onion and garlic and gammon ham, added thyme and grated Parmesan and served it piping hot! The salty bacon with the cheese and fresh tasting thyme made a great supper dish. The cabbage still held a bit of a crunch and went well with the other flavours. A great dish to use up those left over bits of bacon in the fridge.
